// Former Timbercorp Plantations Re-Certified
Former Timbercorp plantations have been re-certified by their new owner Australian Bluegum Plantations. Certification of the 102,957 hectares of tree plantations was formally posted to the FSC International database this week. This restores the area of forest and tree plantations certified to FSC standards in Australia to 547,963 hectares. Australian Bluegum Plantations has also indicated that it wishes to join FSC Australia as a member of the economic chamber.
