Friday 17 April 2009 / ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The FSC Australia AGM will now be held on Friday, April 17th from 11am at Room 1, Level 16, 570 Bourke St, Melbourne. There are 6 directors up for re-election – 2 from each chamber (Environment, Social and Economic). More information on the event has been sent directly to members, including nomination forms for those interested in becoming a member of the FSC Australia Board of Directors. For those interested in joining the FSC Australia governance system, you are more then welcome to become an FSC Australia member.
Thursday 30 April 2009 / DESIGN EX / FORM & FUNCTION
FSC Australia has put together a custom designed booth at Design Ex (incorporating Form & Function), held at the Melbourne Convention Centre between April 30th- May 2nd, that will showcases the range of FSC certified products that are now available within the green building industry at Australia’s premier design event. The stand will be built out of FSC certified Shadowclad produced by Carter Holt Harvey and generously donated by CHH and The Woodage. The display panels are FSC certified MDF sheets kindly donated by Alpine MDF Industries. Other companies displaying their certified products and services as part of the FSC ‘supply chain’ will be Briggs Veneer, Paarhammer Windows and The Woodage (timber merchant and distributor) & SGS Qualifor, a certification body. Companies advertising their FSC certified products on a smaller scale include Hampton & Larsson (joinery), Elton Group (veneers), Beclau Design Furniture, Finewood Ventech (veneers).
