Board Meetings, Minutes & Documents:

 

The Board of FSC Australia aims to meet at least 6 times a year in various cities and regions of Australia. 'Away meetings' present an opportunity for members of the Board to meet FSC members, companies in the FSC supply chain and people in the broader forest community. Coinciding with these meetings the Board hosts public meetings and undertakes visits to certified operations.

In the interest of being an open, accountable and transparent organistation, in April 2008, the Board of FSC Australia committed itself to releasing the minutes of Board Meetings within one month of such meetings taking place.

As point four of the meeting minutes detail, the Board resolved to raise it as an issue with Accreditation Services International (ASI) since they felt it was an issue that went to the success of the National Standard development process for which they, as a Board of Directors, are responsible.
