In response to increasing demand, FSC Australia has put together a guide to FSC certified products in the Australian market within the 'Green Building' sector. The guide will allow those who want to specify and use responsibly sourced timber and timber based products in their respective projects to find suppliers of FSC certifed products in a simple and straighforward manner.

FSC and the 'GREEN STAR' SUSTAINABLE TIMBER CREDIT

The Green Building Council of Australia will release a revised 'Timber' Credit from public comment in July/August 2009, further guidance related to compliance to the 'Timber credit should be available at this time.
