13/10/11 Gunn's Limited Certification Assessment Stakeholder Consultation Announced:
The SmartWood Program of the Rainforest Alliance is currently seeking stakeholder comment and feedback regarding Gunn's "forest management units located in the Green Triangle in South Australia and Victoria, and in the southwestern corner of Western Australia." This consultation period is open to stakeholders until the 11th of November, 2011.

07/03/11 FSC Re-assessment audit of GSTH scheduled for March
Soil Association Woodmark are due to conduct the FSC Re-assessment audit of Great Southern Timber Holdings Pty Ltd during the week of 7 March 2011.
Anyone with an interest in the forest is encouraged to submit comments in whatever format they prefer. A questionnaire and comment form is available for download here.
The applicable standard 'Woodmark generic standard adapted for use in Australia, v4.1 October 2010' may be found on the Soil Association Woodmark web site or can be requested by e-mail or phone 02 6677 6128.
Stakeholders are welcome to comment on the Woodmark adapted forestry standard at any time.
11/11/10 Australian Paper Ltd annex 3 verification process for controlled wood supply from VicForests

Australian Paper Ltd has conducted a risk assessment on supply from VicForests as part of their verification program for controlled wood sources under FSC-STD-40-005(V2-1) EN. The risk assessment is available here.
22/11/10 Kimberly Clark Australia Ltd risk assessment

In April to June of 2010 Kimberly Clarke Australia undertook an annex 3 assessment and verification process on its suppliers of controlled materials. In its original format this was given to FSC Australia and was posted on the web site on or about July of the same year. Since then the work was audited by Smart Wood as part of their review of compliance to FSC STD 30 – 005. They raised several points in the form of a corrective action request (CAR) in response to that CAR the document has been reformatted to comply with the standard.
On 4 November, an amended Annex 3 risk assessment was posted on the FSC Australia web site.
The amendment includes:
1) the rephrasing of HCV1 & HCV2 in the Gunn’s section, at Gunn’s request in their stakeholder response.
2) correction of some typographical errors.
On 22 November, this version was uploaded. One of the minor suppliers was removed.
